The US Department of Labor released preliminary numbers on March employment yesterday that show a jump in jobs. 308,000 non-farm jobs were created last month, almost 3 times the number economist had expected and a true sign that the economy is turning thanks to the valiant stewardship of the Bush Administration. This is a positive day for the country as it is an indicator that continued strong job growth is on the horizon. I can only hope that the great things the President is doing to bring the nation out of the economic woes he inherited will be enough to make up for the impaired vision of Michigans Governor. Otherwise, Michigan will be condemned to continue to watch the rest of the country prosper, while we lag behind.
