I am watching the newest round of Kerry commercials and notice something lacking - John Kerry. Yes, his name shows up at the end and he gives the standard "I approved this message" statement. But the prominent player is John Edwards. I understand the attempts by the Democrat ticket to gain some extra excitement from naming a running mate, but it seems the fears about Edwards outshining Kerry are coming true. The only difference is, the Kerry campaign is encouraging it. Does he really have that little confidence in himself that he thinks it is better for people to focus on Edwards?
