THE GOVERNOR RELEASED HER BUDGET A FEW HOURS AGO… by Betsy DeVos

The Governor released her budget a few hours ago, and while I had been hoping for a miracle, we all got much less. Spending is up again, not much a shock there. But since she had been complaining about a deficit for months I had hoped she might take the opportunity to rein in government in order to fill the hole. Seems she decided to go the other way; raising taxes, cutting scholarships and postponing compensation to state employees until somebody else is in office to deal with it. Thankfully Michigan isn’t a dictatorship.
