“In 1492, Christopher Columbus bravely set out on an adventure that forever changed the course of human history. Hundreds of years later, we still celebrate his journey as a symbol of imagination and determination amidst the unknown. We embrace this optimistic spirit and look forward to forging our path forward in 2014. On behalf of the Michigan Republican Party, I’d like to wish all Michigan families a happy Columbus Day.”
