LANSING, Mich., June 28, 2014 – In honor of Ramadan, Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak issued the following statement:

“For those of Islamic faith, tonight begins the holy month of Ramadan. During this time, families grow closer, religious ties grow stronger and time is spent giving back to the less fortunate. All Michiganders, regardless of their religious background, can appreciate these honorable qualities. We recognize the contributions of Muslim Americans here in Michigan and wish all families who are fasting a blessed Ramadan.”
