LANSING, Mich., Oct. 19 – Michigan Republican Party Chairman Ronna Romney McDaniel on Wednesday released the following statement before tonight’s final Presidential debate:

“Tonight’s debate will showcase how critical it is for the American people to vote on November 8 ^th. This election is not a personality contest, it is about the issues. This election is about jobs, the economy, our national security. It is about the United States Supreme Court. This election is about our future as a nation.

“We are at a pivotal crossroads for our country. Hillary Clinton wants to continue the same failed economic policies of the Obama administration; Donald Trump wants to put America back to work. Hillary Clinton wants puts herself above the security of our nation; Donald Trump will put America, and her citizens, first.

“With so much at stake, we need to be making phone calls, knocking doors, and ensuring voters understand that only one candidate has the vision to take our country forward during this incredibly dangerous time and it isn’t Hillary Clinton. We have to show that we’re united and that we won’t support four more years of the failed status quo.”
