LANSING, Mich., Oct. 19 – Michigan Republican Party Chairman Ronna Romney McDaniel on Wednesday released the following statement regarding the final Presidential debate:

“This final debate showcased what is at stake for the state of our great nation. Donald Trump is a promising new perspective into the problems that have plagued the Obama Administration, problems that will continue in time with Hillary Clinton’s vision for America. Clinton has proven that she is unfit to serve in the most prestigious position of our country. She has held various positions in her 30 years in government aimed at finding a solution to our national debt and failing foreign policy, neither of which she has yet to help. In fact, she’s only made it worse.

“Hillary Clinton wants to be the voice of the American people while dismissing anyone who doesn’t support her. She’s shown that she cares more about open borders and open trade than she does protecting the American people. We cannot allow a candidate like Hillary Clinton into the white house to destroy everything the American people have fought so hard to protect.

“It’s clear that Donald Trump is the only candidate that is willing to fight for the will of the people and fight for policy changes that will help get America back on track to be better and greater than it has ever been.”
