Unhappy Tax Day from Gretchen Driskell and Melissa Gilbert to Michiganders
LANSING, Mich., April 18, 2016 – Michiganders and Americans received some relief from the tax-man this year, as the deadline to file taxes was pushed back to Monday, April 18. However, Democrats like Gretchen Driskell and Melissa Gilbert want to further burden hard-working taxpayers by raising taxes. According to Driskell, Gilbert, and their fellow Democratic Congressional Candidates in Michigan, the federal government better knows how to spend your money better than you do.
In sharp contrast, Michigan Republicans like Tim Walberg and Mike Bishop continue to fight for lower taxes for all Michiganders. That’s because Republicans understand that middle-class workers know how to spend their hard-earned money better than the federal government.
MRP Comment: “Michiganders are already facing too great of a tax burden from the federal government. They don’t need someone like Gretchen Driskell or Melissa Gilbert in Congress, who would continue to raise taxes on hard-working middle-class families in Michigan.” – Sarah Anderson, Communications Director.
